LightCounting, an optical communications industry market research organization, pointed out in its March 2025 report that despite the flat performance throughout 2024, the growth in spending by North American operators in the fourth quarter drove the telecom market to a strong close, and several equipment and component suppliers also pointed out that telecom demand showed signs of continued recovery.
